Sword Health is the world’s fastest-growing virtual MSK care provider, on a mission to free two billion people from pain.

• Team Leadership: Led a team of five engineers within the “Enrollment” vertical, responsible for developing the platform where users can enroll in Sword programs, focusing on areas like eligibility process, partner login SSO, communications, and other initiatives to increase the conversion rate and adquire new users to Sword.
• Process Management: Reponsible for defining the team development process including work planning, code reviews and testing practices, coordinate the release process, ensuring the quality of the releases and the team alignment with the company goals.
• Roadmap Planning: Collaborated with the Head of Engineering, Product Owner, and other stakeholders to plan the team monthly and quarterly roadmaps. This involved defining technical solutions for features and providing high-level time estimates for development.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Worked with other teams to align on technical solutions, share best practices, and ensure the overall quality of the Sword platform.
• Marketing and Communications: Worked with the team to develop a system to sync user data and events with Iterable, a marketing automation platform, allowing the marketing team to create personalized campaigns for the users, without the need for engineering.
• SwordDesk Development: Led the development of SwordDesk, an in-house customer support platform for Sword Care Coordinators and the Customer Support team, featuring a ticketing system, chat, email, SMS, and more.
• Third-Party Integrations: Managed communication with third-party partners to define technical requirements for integrations with the Sword platform, including SSO systems and the Eligibility process, utilizing standards like SAML and EDI 270/271.
• Mentorship and Evaluation: Provided mentorship, conducted one-on-one feedback sessions, and managed the evaluation process for team members.
• Hands-on Development: Actively contribute to code development alongside leading the team, ensuring high-quality solutions and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
